class 6N6... after 15years....

Time flies... 15years passed in a blink of eye...
we've all grown up... with different jobs, interests, status, but still share the same childhood.. a bonding which all of us treasure very much... lost in touch for a few years and some for as long as 13years... believe it or not.. we are back as a family again. like what lorraine mentioned in her email... 3~4 years down the road... we will have little fellas running around us when we meet up for our group gatherings...

20years of bonding is hard to get especially when u r only 26 now...

Chalet 2006

Its the big gathering of the year for JPS class 6N6!!! and i'm so glad that the group just got bigger n bigger... reuniting the "long lost" classmates.

A few took leave and met up early on friday morning to buy what ever necessary drove to the chalet for checking in... i was kinda late for that *oops* so touched when liqin, lorraine, weiwen, yanjun are waiting for me for dinner... we had steamboat, to me its only chinese new year that i get to eat "homecook" steamboat.. sort of like the first time having steamboat in the homely way, felt so touched... later guohao n wife and jincai (one of our long lost classmate recently found him when he saw lorraine in friendster) reached and joined in... did some clean ups and start with some games to keep ourselves fresh, played swap and jenga extreme.. loser gets to drink whisky on the rock or vodka 7up. I WANT I WANT!!! but no chance to drink it... hehe... went to changi village for kopi and to catch some "beauties" and met up with our "chalet booker", junwei aka mr firefighter before we head back to the chalet. Played mahjong... been so long since i last played... lost some money but hey.. i sort of know how to play liao... hehe.. played till 4am n we went for a short nap... woke up at 730am... had a quick wash up and lorraine, liqin and weiwen are already preparing breakfast... had french toast and sunny side up with kopi and prepare for the next program!!!

drove out 2 cars to changi village and went to the jetty for our fetty to Pulau ubin, been years since i last went, my second trip to the little island though... a little phobia from my last trip.. i need someone to hold my hand before i dare to make the big step to the land. Rented bicycles and off we go!! we went on normal road first cos its been quite sometime since lorraine last rode a bicycle, but she made big improvement in an hour's ride... later we went to the bumpier roads... SHIOK!!! i felt like i'm doing trailling on bicycle... its so fun!!! took some pictures and all tired riders decided to go for some 100plus and lunch. Lorraine had a small fall when we are on the way to rest.. minor abrasion... luckily we got some medication on hand.. had a long wair for our drinks and food.. not that nice but hey!!! thats the fun of it. weather is getting darker n getting more windy... so we decided to give up the round 2 exploration n head back to mainland. damn!! paid 10 bucks for only 3 hrs ride.. wasted.. =P

The ferry ride back is a rough one but i love it!! feeling is like u r drunk and feeling so high.. went grab our cars and do a round 2 of shopping.. back to chalet prepare for bbq and played mahjong while the rest watch tv n some catching some rest... been losing yesterday but luckily we are not playing big... but glad that i won $9.60 for that round.. Cool!!! i'm so proud of myself for that game... qingyuan and xiuwei (our 2 ah sir) reached with a few friends... was kinda tired and yanjun havent got a chance to play so pass the good seat to him and went for an hour rest. KO immediately. woke up at ard 6pm, he is sure winning and smiling from side to side... and there i start to set the fire while the few started to take out all food for the bbq... yanjun and lorraine later went to pick our special guest.

fire is nice and all prepared... a lot of nice food indeed... slowly one by one came to join in.. huina and husband, meiqi, chunfu, jincai's girlfriend came. Finally our special guest Miss Tham reached!!! tears almost flow out when i saw her... the feeling is beyond words... we all gathered rounded her and she remembered almost all of us... i went back to the cooking while the rest chatted with her... finally i passed the cooking tongs to the wife n girlfriend and all gathered and took a class photo... finally my turn to get a chat with my favourite teacher... was so touched when she tagged me a "no nonsense girl", i'm glad i'm a good student in her eyes... 2 more years before she retires and start to learn something new... Miss Tham shared her stories when she was teaching in hanoi.. there's this part when she was telling us the ride on "motorcycle taxi" in hanoi when she hugged me from behind to show how the riders want pillion to hold them.. felt so loved..seriously and at the same time so paisei cos i'm so sticky n stinky from the cooking... clock hits 11 and Miss Tham decided to go home, guohao n wife then send her and meiqi home.. me and 2 other classmate see her to the car and waved her goodbye. I'm so proud of her... and proud of myself for being her student.

bbq is over... all satisfied n overate... went for a nice hot shower and watch SEVEN... lorraine went to sleep halfway the show and left 7 of us watching and 4 playing mahjong n the rest sleeping. night is not young but me n liqin not too in a mood to sleep... went to kajiao the guys for chitchat... later played psp till late and off to bed...

woke up last as usual... wash up and did some packing n cleaning up of the room before the chalet officer came to check before checking out. went for a nice breakfast n Home Sweet Home....
